In addition to classics by Fillekes, Niegeman, Kho Liang Ie and Aldo van den Nieuwelaar, Atelier Artiforte will be introducing new work by today's best lighting designers such as David Derksen, Rick Tegelaar and Rachel Griffin.
Born in 1927, Dutch designer Kho Liang Ie is known for his accessible, transparent and clear designs. He developed into one of the most important Dutch designers of the last century. He made his breakthrough in the 1960s with his interior design for Schiphol Airport's new terminal building. His iconic K-46 series for Atelier Artiforte is a beacon for the brand.

The TC-6 circle lamp, a square box with a circular fluorescent tube, is the most eye-catching design from this series. This year, Atelier Aritforte reintroduced this icon, now equipped with LED light source.
Besides lamps, Van den Nieuwelaar also designed furniture; his Amsterdammer cabinet for Pastoe is one of his best-known designs, known for its roller shutter as a cabinet door.
Designer Henk Fillekes is the driving force behind the modernisation of Atelier Artiforte in the 1950s and 1960s. Fillekes develops the collection with many designs of his own, the most famous being the Magneto floor lamp. Fillekes also asks leading designers, including Kho Liang Ie and Johan Niegeman, to design for the brand.
